Before Heaven and Human Design
Human Design is the best-known system to place the I Ching hexagrams around a zodiac wheel. The Blueprint shares that structural insight and departs from it in three places.

Human Design arranges the 64 gates around the Rave Mandala in one particular sequence. Before Heaven asks a different question.
What happens when those same 64 hexagrams are returned to the Xiantian arrangement — the Before Heaven order set out by the Song scholar Shao Yong, built on strict binary logic and mapped cleanly onto the circle?
Same birth. Same planets. A different wheel underneath.
WHAT THIS IS — AND ISN’T
This is not a correction of Human Design, and not a rival school. The mechanics you recognise stay where they are. What moves is the wheel beneath them.
Change the arrangement of the hexagrams, and the gates fall differently against your planets. Lines shift. The shape of the chart resolves into something you haven’t seen before — from the same moment of birth you already know.
Before Heaven is an invitation to look at that. Nothing more, and nothing less.
FIVE SYSTEMS, ONE WHEEL
The wheel is not only a re-ordered I Ching. It is five traditions, each kept in its original form and mapped to the same 360 degrees, anchored at the summer solstice. Once they share a wheel, they read together.
The I Ching — the code. The 64 hexagrams in the Xiantian sequence: the structural logic behind each stretch of the wheel.
True Sky astrology — the players. The planets you already know from your chart, in their familiar positions, fixed with the midpoint sidereal system.
The 36 decans — the story. An Egyptian system older than the zodiac signs, giving each position its landscape and mood.
The Tarot — the mirror. A card for each decan. Not fortune-telling — an image to hold against the structure.
The Chakras — the current. Six energy centres mapped onto the wheel, showing where your energy gathers.
A single planetary position is a gate and line, a decan and card, and a chakra field, all at once. Read together, they give a portrait that is precise and entirely your own.
